The Dobyns Rods lineup has 73 technique specific rods that cover all techniques popular in bass fishing. The rods were created to be the best possible rod for every technique. There are three series of rods ranging from the Savvy Series (starting at $149.99) to the Champion Sereis (starting at $199.99) and the ultimate rod, the Champion Extreme rods starting at $299). Tournament angler Gary Dobyns himself designed the majority of the rods but, he did enlist the help of several other professional anglers and the mission has been accomplished!

In addition to the overall rod design and improved components , these rods are much improved aesthetically as well. The rods now offer a new logo, kevlar wrapping, and a painted reel seat with matching reel seat hood. Dobyns has also added several new models to the lineup.
The Dobyns Rods Champion Extreme series features many of the same great features but offers a higher modulus graphite and the guides are Zirchonium insert guides offering the best in strength, toughness, lightness, and smoothness. The frame is titanium ion plated stainless steel which only adds to the overall strength and toughness of the rod, while still retaining its light weight.
Within the lineup you will also find several signature series rods such as: The Mike Long swimbait rods and jig rod and the Randy McAbee crankbait rods. Each of which, offer you the opportunity to fish the rods designed by the pro's to meet their needs in accordance with their expertise.
Now being manufactured in Korea in order to offer higher quality and advanced performance then the generation one rods, the second generation of Dobyns' Rods bring s a superior rod to the fisherman. Starting with the handle Dobyns' Rods incorporates a high AAA grade cork , a Fuji reel seat, kevlar wrapping, and a specialized hook keeper that will not interfere with your line. The guides have SiC ring inserts with Kigan stainless steel frames, the highest quality guide available. The rods are noticeably lighter and even more sensitive.
